Swim Workouts

This group of 3 workouts are intended for beginning Total Immersion swimmers. They are a way for you to get more comfortable in the water using the balance and swim drill techniques described in the Total Immersion book and workshops.

As with all other TriathlonSkills.com swim workouts, these workouts also include focus points and swim drill sequences (Skating, Fish, Sweet Spot, etc.) grouped by their purpose. For example, the purpose of the Fish drill is to learn balance and head-spine alignment in the Freestyle position.

The workouts are delivered to you as a single Adobe PDF file. As soon as you buy it, you will be sent an email with a link for downloading the file. Print it out and you’re ready to take it to the pool!

The workout lengths are as follows:

  • Beginner Swim Workout # 4: 1,450 yds
  • Beginner Swim Workout # 5: 1,400 – 2,300 yds
  • Beginner Swim Workout # 6: 1,800 – 2,200 yds

If you’re new to swimming or TI technique, don’t be alarmed by the yardages. These workouts do not follow the usual warm up /main set/ cool down sequence, so you can begin and end anywhere in the set and make the workout as long or short as you like.
